{"id":3911,"date":"2025-08-27T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unboxguides.com\/blog\/?p=3911"},"modified":"2025-08-20T16:59:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T16:59:14","slug":"ghana-to-introduce-stem-and-ai-at-basic-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unboxguides.com\/blog\/ghana-to-introduce-stem-and-ai-at-basic-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghana to Introduce STEM and AI at Basic Schools"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The government of Ghana is set to introduce Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects at the basic education level as part of a new curriculum reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative will also integrate artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, engineering, and coding into classroom learning to better prepare students for the demands of the modern world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Education Haruna Iddrisu announced the reform during the launch of the Basic Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (BSTEM) teacher training programme in Sunyani, Bono Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-is-the-bstem-project\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is the BSTEM Project?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The BSTEM initiative aims to transform the way science and technology are taught at the foundational level.
